Because I'm so impressed with myself...

...I just had to share my recent findings at a Ross trip earlier today:

*Bright Stars Activigator toy for Oliver--I paid $3.99 (normally 15-20!)

*A thermal knit (breathable!) receiving blanket--$2.99

*2-pack of size 6-9 months pants (Carter's) for $3.99

*Carter's whale sweater for church--$2.99 (deeply clearanced) 

*3-pack of waterproof bibs (essential for our spitty baby)--$3.99 AND they match the 3-pack of darling onsies I bought earlier (same brand) for $4.99!

*A pair of velour-ey-type pants for me (athank you), for a whopping $2.99! Is it because they are velour? Most likely, yes. Don't judge.

*A pair of plaid-type, dressy pants for $6.49--They are too short on their own (of course) but they have a 2 1/2 inch cuff, so I ripped the seams out and am going to re-hem them tomorrow! A pair of perfectly long (and adorable) pants for 7 bucks? Brilliant.

Anyone who knows me knows this: I will spend lots of dollars on eating out--I am a social eater and love the company and conversation that usually accompanies my eating out. However, I am really weird about spending money on clothes, shoes, purses, etc. It's not because I'm cheap. I don't know what it is. Ask Kristi about it--I'm like a modern marvel in that regard. Maybe I am cheap. Most of the nice clothing I have has come in the form of a gift or a lucky clearance rack find. All I know is that I am insane when it comes to clearance racks and will undoubtedly find the one (or in today's case, 8) gem amid racks of imperfection, stains, rips, loners, "irregulars", and the like. Go me!
